ADIDAS: Culture Shock Edition
Adidas is one of my favorite shoe brands (sorry Nike), and I wanted to show an idea that resonated with the country that loves Adidas so much. Adidas is a part of South African pop culture to a so much so that almost every young person I know currently does or has owned a pair.
For that reason I thought, what if South Africa left its imprint on Adidas in the same way.
Each shoe box played off the different words of shock and positive surprise in South Africa. Playing off traditional South African patterns and incorporating them in iconic three stripes.
A lot of people were on my neck to show what a black version of this shoe would look like, so I figured let's see what it looks like.
